UNIT 6. AT THE BEACH

 UNIT 4. JOBS AND PROFESSIONS!

Hi dear families!

We have started unit 6 and we are working on the topic of SUMMER AT THE BEACH

These are the most important vocabulary words we are learning: collecting shells, making a sandcastle, playing volleyball, playing frisbee, playing with a bat and ball, swimming in the sea, fishing, snorkelling, putting on sun cream and lying in the shade.

You can watch this video too with some other animal words we have been studying!

We will also be learning the Present Continuous Tense but not without having learned the Verb To Be before.

After learning the Verb To Be we will make full sentences using the Present Continuous tense and the vocabulary words! We know we use the Present Contiuous for actions we are doing right now! For example, we will learn to write and say she is collecting shells, you are playing volleyball, he isn't putting on sun cream, I am not swimming in the sea, are they playing frisbee? Yes, they are/No, they aren't, is he making a sandcastle? Yes, he is /No, he isn't

UNIT 6. IN THE COUNTRYSIDE

 Hi dear families!

We have started unit 6 and we are working on the topic of COUNTRYSIDE and GIVING DIRECTIONS 

These are the most important vocabulary words we are learning: mountain, river, lake, forest, path, bridge, gate, signpost, farm  and campsite

You can watch this video about a story that happens in the countryside.

We will also be Giving Directions 

Finally we will link the vocabulary to Give Directions
Example: How can I get to the forest? Go straight on and turn left at the tree. Don't go over the bridge, turn right and go to the end of the path.
