UNIT 6. AT THE BEACH

 UNIT 4. JOBS AND PROFESSIONS!

Hi dear families!

We have started unit 6 and we are working on the topic of SUMMER AT THE BEACH

These are the most important vocabulary words we are learning: collecting shells, making a sandcastle, playing volleyball, playing frisbee, playing with a bat and ball, swimming in the sea, fishing, snorkelling, putting on sun cream and lying in the shade.

You can watch this video too with some other animal words we have been studying!

We will also be learning the Present Continuous Tense but not without having learned the Verb To Be before.

After learning the Verb To Be we will make full sentences using the Present Continuous tense and the vocabulary words! We know we use the Present Contiuous for actions we are doing right now! For example, we will learn to write and say she is collecting shells, you are playing volleyball, he isn't putting on sun cream, I am not swimming in the sea, are they playing frisbee? Yes, they are/No, they aren't, is he making a sandcastle? Yes, he is /No, he isn't

Hi dear families!

We have started unit 5 and we are working on the topic of Daily routines! 

These are the most important vocabulary words we are learning: get up, have breakfast, brush your teeh, go to school, have lunch, go home, have dinner, have a shower, put on your pyjamas and go to bed.

We have introduced the unit watching this video!

We will also be learning the Time!

Finally we will learn to make sentences using the vocabulary words on Daily routines and the Time! For example, we will learn to write and say I get up at eight o'clock, I don't go home at quarter past three, Do you go to bed at half past nine? Hi dear families!

We have started unit 3 and we are working on the topic of FOOD! 

These are the most important vocabulary words we are learning: fruit juice, water, sandwiches, chicken, salad, yoghurt, crisps, chocolate, strawberries and ice cream.

We will also be learning the Present Simple Tense, so we will make full sentences using this verb tense and the vocabulary words! For example, we will learn to write and say I like chocolate, she likes ice cream, I don't like salad, he doesn't like crisps, do you like chicken? yes, I do/no, I don't, does she like strawberries? Yes, she does/no, she doesn't

Hi dear families!

We have started unit 3 and we are working on the topic of SPORTS. 

These are the vocabulary words we are learning: dive, row, do karate, do judo, ride a bike, ride a horse, skateboard, rollerblade, ice skate, play table tennis.

We will be introducing the verb "can" and we will study the personal pronouns, so we will make full sentences using this verb and the vocabulary words! So, for example, we will learn to write and say I can ride a bike, He can't rollerblade or Can you do karate? Yes, I can/No, I can't

We will be introducing the verb Have got and the pronoun "It" ("it" is the personal pronoun used to talk about things or animals) too and we will make full sentences using the vocabulary words! So, for example, we will learn to write and say It has got wings, the parrot hasn't got a shell or has it got feathers? Yes, it has/ No, it hasn't
